"Tried visiting The purple door with my best-friend and her husband before going in my best friends husband asked if females where allowed in , the bouncers response was ‘ yes of course’. Soon as we got out of the car and started walking towards the purple door we got stoped half way through, the bouncer proceeded to then explain that from experience we will get a lot of men approaching us and he knows how that ends (fights). All three of us were just stood there in shock! Although the bouncer was trying to be ‘ nice ‘ about it and explain how it is in there. It made me and my friend feel disgusted because we were not allowed in because of the way we looked and what the bouncer thought about us getting attention from men in there. Now I understand that the bouncer was trying to stop potential disagreements however as two women wanting to go into a gentleman’s club WE should not be the problem. Again I understand if he warned us and said something along the lines please bare in mind that you may get male attention so if you do not like that I wont be able to let you in or give you a refund if you have a bad experience. However the excuse was simply I know you two will get attention so you can not get in! Now if he had given us any other reason the it would be understandable, its full, we don't fit the dress code or any other reason then I think it would be fine and we would of walked off not thinking too much into it but the reason for it was very disrespectful and un professional as we got judged by the way we look, baring in mind we did not have any revealing or inappropriate clothing on ( not that it matters) this should of never been an reason for us to get refused and made to feel like we are just pieces of meat that men will give ‘ attention ‘ to."

"Me, my female friend and my husband wanted to go for the first time to purple door. Before we came to the door my husband asked the bouncer if females can go inside and bouncer said yes thats fine. As soon as the bouncer saw me and my friend he immediately refused us because “other male clients would approach us which could cause fights” and because he’s experienced he knows it wont be good for me and my friend to go inside? This is discusting and disrespectful behaviour and clearly attractive young females are not allowed to go inside because other strippers would het jealous:)"
