Reviews
"Friendly staff. Small store. Good for quick essential shopping."
"Think about or imagine your archetypal corner shop and this establishment fits the bill perfectly. Smiling friendly chatty people behind the counter plus sensible and affordable prices for your usual items of grocery. Dependable service and who won't love this local?"
"They are just delightfully nice bunch"
"Golly. What to say. We moved here in 2007, and it was an institution then, 12 years later it still is. Same owners. Same dusty shelves. Since we moved 400m away in 2013, it is now the corner store of last resort after our literal Corner Store has failed us in our mission for something obscure and seldom used... And that's the thing about Ken's corner store, it pretty much always has what you need when you need it... Maybe dusty, maybe on the edge of its expiry date, maybe costs more than it should, but it's there! They have also caught the craft beer bandwagon, and so if Stella or Heineken is not your thing, grab a hand crafted porter or ipa or sour or some other exorbitant overpriced nectar in a can brewed by beer muddled London hipsters :) It's three stars, cause it's a corner store!"
"There are really only two local shops in this part of Nunhead, both good. I use this one for my ice cream, as they have better, modern, freezers so there's no chance of icy water forming crystals on any ice cream I may purchase!"
