Reviews
"Usually get the basics from here. Sometimes the small extras like veg and fruit. Very convenient. But some items are pricey compared to the supermarket."
"Not sure why this gets bad reviews, it’s been my local store for years and never had a bad experience"
"The store hygiene is on the decline. I previously report another issue in the past. Today was shocking when I saw lots of small insects flying over bakery. Spoke with manager and he was aware yet food items were not covered. On my asking, he closed the shelves."
"The staff are great. But there just aren't enough of them and those in there are snowed under. So it can take ages in there. Not good when you're in a rush. And the cashpoint usually doesn't work. So basically, short on staff, long on queues. Best avoided if possible"
"I've been a customer since it opened. I love the staff in the store until today. I can't do big shops and my mobility is poor. I usually buy about a bag full of goodies on the odd occasion. I choose not to use the machines as I need help with packing and usually, if I ask for a bag and obviously walking with a stick I don't expect to have to go and find the bag then after I put it under the screen where the boy is putting my shopping, instead he ignored the fact I needed help. I couldn't even manage opening the bag without his help. So, he left me having to reach through and pick up all my shopping and bag it. Because of this before I got there, there was only one person on the till, I need help so I use the 'manned till.' instead, tonight I had a long wait to be served because he wasn't helping anyone and I have to say, he simply wasn't up to the Sainsbury's standard I've come to know. If you are going to refuse to help the disabled when they shop, just remove the tills, make the staff stack shelves and only have automatic machines, because tonight, that was how I felt when I left. I walk past Asda, local markets and a tesco is just up the road. Its not like I don't have choice. I choose to shop at Sainsbury's I would like to carry on but please be careful who is on the till if you have a disability. Some are far less helpful than others."
