"Easy parking. Wide aisles. Amazing fresh breads and pastries. Excellent value for money."
"Worst retail experience, how is this company so successful? Poor products, poor layout and even pricing is marginal. At least Sainsbury's make an effort with their customers. I only pop in as it's convenient, but always leave with regret. Avoid"
"very clean and well-stocked market, excellent parking because it is also equipped with electric stations for cars. I recommend adding the automatic checkouts."
"Lidl on price, not so much nowadays, lidl on value is more accurate. Week by week the quality and value engineering of the fruit and veg is getting more and more harder for them to disguise, it’s really obvious how it’s going down hill both in the quantity and quality of the fruit and veg product and price going up. I understand there is a cost that has to be passed onto the customer when markets are in flux like they have been this year, but you wouldn’t expect them to be so brazen in their approach to value engineering. As an an example take a humble pack of brown onions, you used to get 3 of those huge onions for around 99p, those huge onions are now half the size and same price. Portobello mushrooms, you used to get 4 big ones where now you have 3 smaller ones. Watermelon now double in price. And it’s pretty much the same across the board on all their fresh and non ambient products. Scary stuff. Not as much a reason to shop there as there used to be."
"First time visited the store for garden tools. None on display. Staff said tomorrow they will get it out and nothing they can do today. Tricky part is without buying anything (No receipt) how does one enter car reg for parking? I managed to speak to couple of staff again and used someone's receipt to enter car reg. On screen said it's recorded. More than anything been let down by the camera controlled car parking situation."
