"I moved in a new property on this road and the previous tenant left debt on the gas & the electric. I was given codes from the provider & the shop keepers at this shop seemed incompetent & unhelpful as the provider wanted to give me codes to wipe off the debt. Or it could be their system they use is out of date. Not sure. Quite recently I have had a faulty lock for my front door & my front door keys could not open my door. The landlord was due to fix this but on a Sunday. I asked the shop keeper as a regular customer when I got locked outside my house for help to ask him if I could use use his phone to call an emergency locksmith. The shopkeeper man refused to help me. He even had a dirty smirk on his face. He had no compassion or remorse for me whatsoever. I was in disbelief. This was 9pm at night & you would think they would care me being a young woman. Women are vulnerable to attack’s at night time. So I went to the cab station instead across the road and a lady who was there called an emergency locksmith for me. And the locksmith came in half an hour. Thank God. I will never go to this shop again to top up my electric or gas or buy anything from them. I was a good customer paying into their service yet they couldn’t help me as a neighbour or regular customer new to the area. The Co-Operative are more helpful & better with problems with gas & electric they even helped me speak to the provider to type in codes to rectify the problems. If you’re new to Forest Hill area avoid this shop like the plague. They don’t care about citizens or the local people that buy from their shop. All they care about is money & taking from customers with no care or respect. This area is meant to be a community & a community should help its neighbors."
