Reviews
"I have been shopping at Tesco Express for a while and I must say that it is a convenient option for quick and small purchases. However, the staff could improve their services and be more helpful to customers. The store can get crowded and it can be difficult to move around, as the staff often arrange themselves in such a way that makes it hard for customers to navigate the aisles. Despite these challenges, Tesco Express is a good option for those looking for a quick and convenient shopping experience. Overall, I would rate this store 3 stars for its location and convenience, but with room for improvement in customer service and store layout."
"Jabran, the security guy, was very rude and obnoxious on Christmas Eve. I went about 6 minutes before closing and one person was waiting outside. I waited till 21:57, and another man came. Jabran let the later customers in but refused to let me in. I would have been perfectly fine with him turning everyone away. The fact that he turned me and only me away made me feel discriminated as a minority in London. Please train your staff better."
"The worst tesco I have been to in London... Fridge doors are open everywhere (fresh food may not be so fresh) so not risking getting refrigerated food from them. Many shelves are half empty. Really disappointed as I used to love tesco express at least the one located in Bermondsey."
"Being told by staff member pack 6 water not in stock... despite clearly visible on shelf... then being told those are for individual sale only, look Tesco want to sell bottles individually fine, but don't then leave PACKED water on shelves, it's your job to provide accurate and visible information, including relevant display for direct purchases. Not unpacking, comes down to staff being lazy, and not the customer."
"Two stars because I can’t fully fault it as they had two items that were nice. Other than that tho the shelves were threadbare, the store was incredibly busy with no real queue management and staff were focused on arranging shelves. The place has a small bakery and tries to cater to lots of food groups and as such barely has the basics. It should all be self checkout and more space given to actual foods."
