"Popped into this Swedish icon. The original shop in London for all things Swedish and edible! This shop has been around before all things scandi was trendy. I’ve been getting my Swedish fill here since the 90s. As far as I know this is the only shop/s (one in Barnes too) providing exclusively Swedish fare in London. My most treasured purchases this time around was the Stilton cheese puffs (think posh wotsits with a Stilton twang) and sliced sausage that has this deep smoky flavour with a hint of juniper. To.Die.For. This used to be a childhood treat. Yes it wasn’t glamours and high end in the deep forest of the north of Sweden… I bought lots of other things too. Swedish sweets deserves your curiosity… If you are around Baker Street, Edgware Road or Marble Arch this place deserves a visit."
"I have never ever ever in my life met a nice woman like the woman I just met. I wish I got her name but I think she is the owner. It was 5 minutes past the closing time and the door was lock and she still let me in. She was very lovely god bless her. We need more kind people like her!"
"I came in with an obscure query, poorly describing an Icelandic buttery product that is impossible to describe. Within minutes the lovely shopkeeper had located the Norwegian version of this buttery product. I have had it on my toast this morning and feel so happy to have located this. Thanks so much!"
"They have alot of the common Swedish groceries. But why I give it only a 2 star is because: - Often expired or very short best before dates of chilled products. This is such a bad look even if those products were offered for free it would be a very low standrad, better to just give it to a charity on the day they expire. - A person I belive most be a manager at the Marylebone store have a aggresive attitude. Is being rude towards her colleagues and customers on the shopfloor, which just makes a bad "vibe". The shop in Barnes have a much better vibe. - Very low food safety standrad to even offer frozen/chilled food as a delivery option if they cant keep it cold when delivery."
"A cozy and well assorted store that sells Swedish products, mainly food items. Great for hosting a Swedish-themed party or if you are a Swede and get cravings for graved salmon or Västerbotten cheese. Prices are a bit high but not unreasonable. Some of the staff speak fluent Swedish."
