"We visited in the evening for a few items. The young gentleman who served us never said a word during our payment at the till, then put our change on the counter for us to retrieve all the little coins instead of handing it direct to us as we did when paying. We will use Tesco or the Co Op in the future."

"I cannot believe that the staff have to work in these conditions. This is disgusting- the SMELL of waste/ sewage from a broken pipe from the flat above the shop is leaking through the ceilings and making the shop REEK. Sainsburys should close this shop until it is fixed- the fact that they are forcing their employees to work under these conditions- breathing in peoples waste throughout the day is despicable. It’s even worse that I’ve just seen that this issue has been going on for WEEKS?! Ridiculous! My heart goes out to the poor staff (who are nothing but lovely and friendly) for shame sainsburys !!!"

"For the past two weeks, it has smelt so potently of sewage that I most recently had to suppress the urge to vomit upon entering. It's disgusting. There appears to be water dripping from the ceiling – is that what's causing the smell? If so, how can I be confident that the food I purchase here remains safe to handle or consume (if, say, it gets splashed)? Some communication with customers would be appreciated. My heart goes out to the staff who're forced to work under such awful conditions."

"Update:Now with bags by the quick checkout, have an extra star. They don't have carrier bags by the quick checkout tills. I know that we are supposed to bring our own bags these days, but I can't express how annoying it is. Having to interrupted one of the nice check out people and ask for a bag leaves my spectrum brain in agony."
