"I have great memories of visiting this place near on 30 years ago. I went today, and litterally, nothing has changed, apart from significant deterioration and neglect. It's like stepping back into 1993. It looks like there has been absolutely no maintenance since I visited in the 90s, It was absolutely awful!! Avoid at all costs. The outside rapids were closed, the outside ponds/water features were empty and broken, the canteen was closed with the service counters / display fridges rusting, poolside mirrors were dirt and discoloured, broken windows, wave machine broken, all the jacuzzis were drained, tiles missing, the pool was cold, traffic light system for the flumes was broken. The few showers that were working only had cold water so the kids couldn't use them, i forced myself to have a cold shower to get myself as clean as possible!The toilets didn't have any hot water, or soap! This place needs knocking down a rebuilding!! I'm half expecting to come down with some highly infection disease in the coming days, wish me luck. Save yourself a few quid and go swim in the Themes, it's probably cleaner, warmer, and safer."

"For the past two weeks the water was ice cold and no shower with warm water as the boiler it's not working. I decided not to stay and I have asked for a refund , the manager Julia who in my opinion it's not a manger I have asked her for refund , she said she will not give me the money back but she will put credit in my account which I explained her that I don't want as I'm not coming here again. After arguing with me I asked her for email to make a complaint and I told her that I will give her feedback and she said it's not point to do that as she is dealing with complaints and there will be no outcome. Please avoid this place . Even inside is very cold as most of the glasses are broken but she called her self manager . JOKER NOT MANAGER"

"I always remember loving this pool as a child, but yesterdays visit I was so disappointed. The rapids were turned off, half the circle to swim around (by the outside bit ) was closed off. Jacuzzis were closed, even the fountain in the middle was trickling water like it couldn’t be arsed. The slides were late to open too, and when they did they were supervised from the bottom as I was informed there were only three lifeguards working that day. The changing rooms were tiny I couldn’t fit my child and myself in to get changed with my bag as well. There were tiles missing, plugs (waterproof) hanging out where lights should have been under the water. Only 5 showers. It’s the only fun pool around and it’s such a shame that the experience was far from “fun” surely it’s time for a revamped?"

"One word.. FILTHY. Where do I start? Obviously it’s warm and humid.. that’s kind of expected of a swimming pool. But there were no facilities for a drink whatsoever. No machines, cafe was closed and when we asked the staff they said no sorry I can’t help we do t have anything. During my time in the pool, I saw various ‘things’ floating around which made me feel sick. The changing rooms are grotty. They look like they’re never cleaned. Showering facilities are interesting - large communal area, with one working private shower. Means you’ll probably go home dirtier than when you arrived. The centre tile areas are filled full of dust, dirt and rubbish. Toilets were even warmer for some reason and an absolute scene. Couldn’t use them due to them being so disgusting. Not even a cleaner in site. The whole place is extremely dated. The outside looks awful with tiles broken and fallen off. No wonder the car park looks so empty. Save yourself the money, head to another local pool and buy the kids some pool toys to play with instead."

"Great wave pool to take the kids, not too busy the 5 times we’ve been there There are plenty of changing rooms, including family changing rooms, shower area and lots of lockers (don’t forget to take a £1 coin). There are some mirrors are the front with 3 hair dryers that can be used. There is also a cafe and seating area that overlooks the pool, so if you’re not swimming and want to be able to watch the rest of your family it’s great. However, I’ve been there at all sorts of times throughout the week and not seen the cafe open."
