"Me and my partner went to get snacks at 10 pm this evening, an hour before the store closes! When we entered the manager had already started mopping the floors, when we were trying to get items of the shelf he told us to step back on to the dry floor because he had just mopped the floor there. He was very frustrated and rude when we needed to grab certain things and this led to my partner felling uncomfortable and anxious due to his passive aggressive tone and the fact we were made to feel like we shouldn’t have been there or had done something wrong. Once we finished paying and walked to the car park he ran out to our car and accused us of stealing chocolates. Absolute terrible !"
"The place is poorly run by an inexperienced and aggressive manager. They refuse to man the self service and let the 1 person on the tills do it all, whilst the manager wonders round avoiding real work. I took me 10 mins to pay for 1 item. They refuse to put bags on the self service because of locals not paying 10p for the bag, so the managers idea is to make people queue for bags and then for checkout?? How does this make people scan the bags still?? I asked the manager about this, and he got very aggressive to me."
"Just as the Chief Executive of Sainsbury’s announces that they will turn away customers that don’t wear a face mask and they’re reducing the amount of people allowed in to stores due to Covid... I walk in to Sainsbury’s in Tolworth’s King Charles Road and there’s two customers without a mask in a quite small store, no member of staff approached them to tell them to wear a mask, and there’s no one controlling the doors either. What a load of rubbish."
"Friend being racially abused at 10 o'clock this morning, simply because he questioned the result of a lottery ticket politely. Being from eastern Europe (who holds a British passport & about to have his third British child), she aggressively asked if he could read english & told to shut up. Not wanting to start an argument with a woman he left it. Having a family with a woman from outside the EU it concerns me how they will be treated. Guess this is the future to come, after Brexit!"
"Went in first thing in the morning around 7am, tried to buy a monster and pain au chocolate for breakfast. Something was wrong with the self service til, the shop assistant came round to help when another woman asked if they were broken she replied "no I've just had two idiots mess them up" apparently the customer previous to me had had the same problem and this woman decided it was our fault. Won't be going back obviously."
