"Go elsewhere , not easy to see parking restrictions and received parking fine , total con and £100 fine in these financial hard times"
"As others popped in for tesco quickly and Parked in bay marked shop. Received penalty fine. Complete con and money making scheme. I will not attend the location again."
"Echoing the last post, I have been caught out using these bays and have appealed to UK CPM (expecting their own internal appeal process, with them as judge and jury, to reject my appeal) on the grounds of unclear signage, eg. small print signs mounted at high level and indistinct writing and lines spread partially across the Shop bays. Why would it be unreasonable to assume a bay marked "Shop 6' is not for customer use? I have also contacted Tesco who were sympathetic, but seemingly unwilling to get involved as they do not control the car park. I suggested to Tesco this is bad for their business and would, most probably, deter customers from visiting their store. So, please warn your contacts and I would suggest finding an alternative place to shop."
"For years and until very recently parking between Tesco and the chip shop has been free, it’s now a money making scam, so beware unsuspecting drivers. SIGNAGE IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT CLEAR ENOUGH!!! Who ever employed CPM management needs to rethink that arrangement and MAKE IT CLEAR by writing NO PARKING on those bays, not SHOP 1, 2, 3 etc…which is misleading. We’ll done, idiots, you have just lost my custom for ever."
"Parking fines!! Watch out they marked bays between Tesco and chip shop says “shop (number)” but is not for shoppers but shop staff. If you park in these you get £100 ticket from CPM parking management. Another tricky carpark. Camera is pointing at the bays from Tesco."
