"I watched an absolutely incredible performance of macbeth, the actors brought me to tears. The stage space is intimate and really brings you into yhe performance The building staff are very helpful and the bar has a decent selection and is fairly priced. I cannot wait to see what is shown here next!"
"What a great venue! So close to the artists, perfectly tiered so everyone has a great view and not even a need for mics in a spoken performance. I hope to have the opportunity to return!"
"The Barman wouldn’t give me a chalice to drink my wine. He said I didn’t have time but there were 15 mins left until the show. After asking 3 times he finally asks the manager whether he could, she agrees. When he gives it to me I say “finally” and the manager starts arguing with me. I was shocked never has this happened to me. To make matters worst I was having a drink with my friend and the manager shouts out “last call for the show” and I say “yeah one second I’m waiting for a friend” and she responds “I wasn’t speaking to you”. I was in disbelief, the audacity and horrible manners. When I asked to speak to the manager she responds saying it was her. The show was great but the manager was absolutely dreadful , no manners and a very bitter woman. Please be careful how you approach her as she can be very rude. I’m going through cancer treatment and I haven’t been out in a long time and I was looking forward to the show, but this is how I got treated. Unacceptable service from the manager she ruined my mood and night."
"What a lovely theatre and you really feel immersed in the story with the characters because of the closeness to the actors. I saw "Ordinary Days," I cried both tears of sadness a happiness and so many feelings of the characters resonated. What a clever story, what wonderful acting and what a GREAT way to spend a Saturday evening! I shall search out more local theatres to support from now on!"
"A beautiful fringe theatre. Thank you to all the people that work here for making this visit so welcoming. I rented the theatre out for 4 days to film a short film. The technical manager was so helpful. The owner and building manager were so helpful throughout the whole process. When it came to any help or advice they were their to support us. I truly love The Cockpit it became home for myself and all the cast and crew that were involved in making this movie. I wish all the luck with reopening the theatre and bringing it back to life."
