"I miss DBAT! I studied abroad and originally heard about Don’t Be a Tourist through some other students who were also studying abroad. There was a trip coming up, and with being new to the area I figured, “why not?” I originally thought that I would only go on one trip with DBAT, and then travel all the other places I wanted to go on my own. After that one trip, I quickly changed my “only one trip” attitude and ended up going on four trips with them. If I had more time, I would have gone on more. Traveling with DBAT I was able met others who were also in a new land, and had the same desire to travel and experience other cultures, and most of all have fun like myself. By the end of each trip we had all experienced so much and became close friends that it felt like a small family away from home. I learned a lot, made good friends, and made better memories. "Went on the trip to Edinburgh and there were three things that I was highly impresserd with. 1. Totally worth the money: cost of the bus, hostle, and three meals is included in the trip price, plus a tour and acouple of activities. 2. Excellent customer service: the guide was amazing, the company is professional and well organized, and the driver was courteous and kind. They are wonderful to work with and I will be using their company in the future. 3. The trip was the perfect mix of structure and free time: there were scheduled activities, side activities (pay a little more), or you could opt out without any pressure. It was a great trip (especially since most of the museums and galleries are free, and there is plenty to do in the center of town, etc.). As a heads up, the bus ride is long, so bring a hook if you don't want to sleep or watch the movies they provided. Such a good company!"
