"We visited on Bank Holiday Monday. We walked to Akamba along the nearby canal to find ourselves transported to Africa! The metal sculptures of African wildlife in the gardens are very impressive and worth going to see in and of themselves. There was an event happening for the bank holiday so we decided to buy tickets and stay for the entertainment, food and had some rum cocktails. I felt like I was on holiday. We'll definitely come back for another event in future."
"Garden centre part not a lot to choose from, and as they are specialist plants, quite expensive, you can tell that a lot of the plants have been there for a long time, due to their size and price tag. The restaurant area looked amazing, a wonderful setting with all the iron animals and decor. We didn't purchase any food so couldn't comment on the food or drink, but there were plenty of people in there. The iron sculptures are wonderful! Such amazing detail, you can see all the hard work that goes into them."

"First time here as a diner, and must say was pleasantly surprised. Never tried African food until my visit here and the food was faultless. Lovely vibes and reggae music playing in the background and nice selection of cocktails and beers . Shout out to a staff member called Leah was very pleasant and friendly throughout our visit . 10/10"
"Really cool place for a quick look around. We had a drink and a tuna melt was lovely. The sculptures are impressive. We enjoyed it and will be back when that way on again."
