"Had a great time, was very cold and some small pathways were closed off from you walking around and some animals weren't out or seen ( although this is typical with the Pallas cat, fishing cat, clouded leopard and Amur Leopards ) we did get to see the tiger up close, the lions were out as were the snow leopards. We got some AMAZING up close photos too. So overall although some animals were not seen we did see most of the others and get some very good photos."
"Awesome animal park. Really enjoyed the layout with a few routes to do and probably lucky as a drizzly say so pretty quiet but saw most tod the animals. Great day out, friendly staff and loads of interesting facts and things to see. Will be back as the kids loved it nearly as much as me and the Mrs"
"Howletts wild animal Park is very well sign posted coming towards Canterbury. Their is plenty of car park space . You may have to que up to buy your tickets , but I recommend booking in advance. It very big place to walk around and has several slopes and it is all wheelchair accessible. The animals are amazing and they have just introduced a lion enclosure with one new male lion and one female lion . The elephant was my favourite part of the whole day out . Loads of monkey enclosures . The gift shop ain't very big . Plenty picnic areas to sit down and have your lunch . The only thing I was disappointed on was didn't get to see all the animals because they were either asleep or no where to be found . And that I expected a bit more to do and look at . But it's a great place for all the family . You would only need a couple of hours I think to get round their."
"A lovely animal park in gorgeous grounds but not a huge amount of animals so you can definitely do the park in a couple of hours even if you stop for something to eat. They have a main cafe The Pavilion, where you can get hot food and a few other stands selling snacks, drinks and ice creams. Food is pricey for what it is, I paid £8.50 for lasagna and chips and with a drink that was £11.50. The cafe is more cafeteria style where food is under a hot stand and they serve you and you take your tray to the cashier. The view of some of the animals is spectacular but this a chilled style zoo where you could bring the family for picnics as loads of eating areas."
