"I wanted to book a phone chat with the Doctor. They could only offer 9 days later at an undefined time between 8 and 12, so I would have to stay up to 4 hours by the phone. When a funeral came up I tried to phone to cancel or better establish a more accurate time of the appointment. Option 3. No answer all day. Wanted to transfer me to the "collaborative". But the website says the surgery is open all day. Phone Option 1. Phoned in desperation. Prescription OR QUERIES. No human reply for queries. Phone Option 2. Recorded message said I was no.1 in the queue which caused me to wait for ages and try repeatedly throughout the day. I presume I am still no.1 in the queue to this day. It later transpired that my appointment had been made for a specific time rather than a 4 hour window, which is all I wanted in the first place but nobody had let me know. As there seems to be no staff in the surgery I doubt if anyone will pick up on these matters."
"Yet again a receptionist took it upon herself to give me wrong information and ignored what I had told her about how poorly I had been and how much I needed a prescription sorting out .She mis informed me taking me to phone 111 saying they will prescribe .I phoned 111 who told me they do not presc ribe but they would email the surgery and get them to sort it .I phoned the surgery and was told that they would get it sorted and to phone back in afternoon which I did ONLYto be told no doctors in in afternoon and no one had done it in the morning .I have been critically I'll and all I get is passed over by these people it's disgusting and not acceptable"
"Despite hearing of not being able to get face to face appointments with GP I called the centre yesterdsy expecting to have to do a phone consultation. I was given an appointment to SEE the doctor at 5.20 the same afternoon. This resulted(as I had been putting eardrops in for a week) an appointment with Claire(nurse) this morning to have my ears syringed. All sorted in 24 hours. Thanks Claire"
"Great practice, but they need to introduce a call waiting system. Absolutely impossible to get through and get an appointment. On multiple occasions I have tried to ring 100+ times in one morning and it’s been engaged every time. Introduce a simple call waiting system and it would be a 5* practice without question."
"Always found staff and doctors spot on. I'm now with Ecclesfield, oh dear..... I'm tempted to use my brothers address in Stocksbridge and change back to Deepcar surgery."
