"Stuart at this lovely ironmongers shop J.R. Webster & Co. was the soul of kindness and expertise today. I was looking for a loft door hooked rod, to open the loft door, and Stuart actually made one on the spot for me, improvising with a wooden rod, screwing in a hook which he had fashioned using metal cutters to make a perfectly sized hook. He then secured the wood so it would not splinter with use, using a plumbers metal hook. Incredible. All done without fuss, in about ten minutes based on inspired, creative skill and kindness. He then refused a tip saying it should go in a charity box for those who will be struggling this year. What a wonderful gentleman. THANK YOU STUART."
