"I finally plucked up the coverage to have a review to talk about having dental implants, I was looked after so well from my first appointment. Jacqueline talked me through all of my options and after X-rays and scans I met Dr Rik Trevedi. I made the decision to go ahead for full upper dental implants. I had all my own teeth with a couple at the back missing but the condition of them wasn’t how I wanted them to look and due to gum disease became weak. I wanted the perfect smile that I had when I was younger and to be able to confidently chew any food I liked!! I won’t lie I was petrified before the surgery which took longer than the expected 5 hours. I was however reassured at all times and made to feel comfortable and at ease. The days following the surgery were uncomfortable and I was swollen and bruised but honestly was worth it! I left with fixed temporary implants and only 9 weeks later I had my final set fitted was honestly the best thing I have done for myself in years. Yes it was expensive but it was worth every penny. If your thinking about having dental implants I would recommend going to see Rik and his team his care, knowledge and reassurance through the whole process was second to none, you will not be disappointed."
