"Terrible place. Used car tyre inflator which costs £1 for starters. For it not to work. Didn't inflate my tyres so spoke to the manager who also saw it wasn't working after me putting another £1 in cause he didn't believe me, for him to still not refund me. Won't use again specially when the manager doesn't know how to look after his customers. £2 out of pocket for nothing. Stay clear."
"I went into the Spar garage in Halifax to buy a takeaway cup of Starbucks coffee, firstly I selected my drink and it failed to work ( I got a large £3) . I tried again and it worked, the Hot water and coffee dribbled out of the dispenser , it also came out at each side of the dispenser and was way too far apart for the cup to catch all of it (I lost 3/4 of my drink there) . I told the employee who cleans the mess the coffee machine had made (and wasn’t very apologetic) , later she returned to the the counter . I handed her £10 and expected £7 in return (she never offered me any discount or voucher for the lost coffee) but to my surprise I received £6.10 , only 90 pence off but still an inconvenience . Either the coffee machine had a wrong price advertised or she gave me the wrong change, but either way i was very disappointed by the service and the quality of the coffee and the way it was served . I would give 1 star if I could ."
"Not the cheapest place to shop but convenient if you're filling up with fuel or have just been to the swimming baths. There is a free cash machine here which is quite handy though."
