"We went to this Tesco Express on 17/12/22, on the way back from Lodge Hill Cemetery, (just up the road from this Tesco) to my home in Polesworth, Nr Tamworth, Staffordshire. We just wanted to get a few things we`d forgotten to get that week and the bill came to £57.25, but I redeemed some Tesco loyalty card points bringing the bill down to £30.80, BUT when we got home (25 miles away) we found they'd RIPPED US OFF and unfortunately living so far away we couldn't go back and complain! In amongst our shopping we`d purchased a pack of J20 drinks, just one pack, BUT THIS PLACE CHARGED US FOR TWO PACKS. Enjoy your extra profit Tesco, because on our regular several times a year trips to that cemetery when we usually pop into this Tesco Express and get fuel and groceries, we WILL NOT BE BUYING FUEL OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM YOU AGAIN. As this is right in the heart of the student catchment area for Birmingham University I urge all students who dont have much money, CHECK YOUR BILL closely when buying from these RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!!!!!!!"

"One thing I don't like is the staff inconsistently fail to ask if you have a Tesco Club Card. I then choose to present it and it turns out it gives me decent savings e.g., £1 or £2 at a time which I'd not have had just based on following their instructions. Sometimes when I've gone on to present my Club Card rather than my payment card to get that saving they'll glare at me as though somehow they've been spited(!)"

"Went to this store today 5/12/21 at 10:50am I parked in the disable bay and displayed my disable badge. A gentlemen then arrived in his car and immediately started starring at me, then a member of Tesco staff came out and started starring at me. I then had a member of staff knock loudly on my window, I ended my phone call turn to answer the member of staff. To find I was being rudely being told off, asked to move immediately out of the parking bay as it was for disable people. I waited patiently and answered can you not see my blue badge in my window and why did you not ask me if I was disable. She then proceeded with foot in mouth to apologise. As far as I’m concerned it’s to late for an apology I was totally embarrassed and made to feel small."
