"I walked into the store on Thursday 24th March at 11:50am and made eye contact with the barista and we exchanged “hellos” and I then started to order my drink to which then I was informed by the barista “This is not where you order!” I apologised and walked to the other end of the counter to which the barista then told me to “Use Your Eyes” in a very rude and degrading manner. I said that I apologised to her and only ordered with her as we locked eyes as I walked in and then the barista started raising her tone with me saying “I am busy and you can see that yet you start to make your order with me!” I kept my tone lowered and simply asked why the barista was getting so angry with such a simple mistake which I apologised for and was then told by the barista that she was fasting, has been rushed off her feet and she does not need to deal with customers who cannot make out the difference between the order counter and receiving counter. I am very disappointed that Starbucks are employing staff who are so rude to customers. When leaving the store I said to the barista that I will report this incident and I was informed by them “Go ahead as I will be leaving this place soon!” This really does not sit well with me that a Starbucks barista (I always have found baristas to be so friendly) has hurt my feelings and ruined my day with such bad behaviour and they are citing “fasting” as an excuse! They should not fast if this is the behaviour they are going to be giving to customers. Starbucks should rectify this behaviour with their staff as it has really left a bad feeling with me and unfortunately I will think twice before walking into a Starbucks again. The barista’s name at this branch was: Nadia and she was around 5ft 4inches in height. Although I was offered a free drink by the other staff members, I felt that I had to report this online!"
"Pretty good Starbucks right opposite South Kensington tube station. Obviously can get busy in the morning rush but the line moves pretty quickly and food and drink comes fairly quick too. Staff are very nice and friendly, there’s also a toilet inside and a small amount of seating at the back of the cafe. Food and drink are of a standard you expect of Starbucks, so a great place to grab a drink if you’ve just arrived or about to commute home from the area…"
"The shop itself is bright, new and fresh. It was what you expect from a revamped Starbucks. But. They didn't touch the toilets. The loo is dirty, messy and frankly disgusting. And this wasn't at the end of a busy day, this was 10 minutes after the shop had opened. Filthy, cracked grout. Tiles are disgusting with stains. I was shocked. Shame on you Starbucks you didn't even refresh the toilet totally unsanitary. And if this is what I can see, what can't I?. Filthy!"
"I’ve been here twice and they haven’t had my drink twice, first was my annual PSL, second was an eggnog latte. Yet the holiday drinks are heavily advertised on the menus, perhaps they can’t update them. The bathrooms and indoor cafe are also very dirty."
"Staff are so moody and rude. Blonde girl behind till asked for my order then ignored my answer to talk to a colleague a lady wearing glasses. Woman making drinks gave all waiting customers a dirty look. Serving people who came in later, first. Snapped at me for getting a sleeve ready for my cup. Eventually get my drink and the milk is over steamed. I could’ve lived with that of service was otherwise good. It was medium busy when I went in but I haven’t had good service in there even when it’s been quiet. Never been in such a bad Starbucks. Will stick to costa over the road or black sheep."
