"Security staff ran after me and blocked me in and interrogated me. I was mortified not knowing what happened, eventually found out that my card payment didn’t go through on their machine.. which was clearly their issue. But instead on talking to me like a perosn, they looked down at me and belittled me. Store manager even stated that I should leave the shopping if couldn’t afford it.. I had to reassure he that I had 1000 more in my bank account. I have never been made to feel this low in my life. I will never be visiting this store again and I will be avoiding Asda altogether."
"Approached customer services to ask if Prime was in stock. The lady gave me the dirtiest of looks, I get you probably get asked this all the time but when you're the face of customer services you need to be polite, cheerful and kind. The usual Prime no stock sign was out of sight hence the reason I asked, the actual person at fault here was the Asda colleague for having no out of stock sign on display! Let's not forget Asda are the only supplier of this product, they need to accept that they will get asked alot. Even my 10 year old boy said "she was moody wasn't she Dad""
"It's been a long time since I've visited here, but the store never disappoints. I absolutely love this store as it has a huge range of departments to offer, a wide range of clothing, ample food/bakery, love walking round, & ample parking on site, with petrol station. Very handy as I've come off for a break from my motorway journey heading for home."
"Appalling service this evening. I approached the counter at customer service to collect my click and collect parcel to be told ‘I can’t do that, only say staff’ so I requested to speak to the manager as I live 40 miles away from the store so I could not really leave without it. I was told the manager was in a huddle so would come over when she’s done….okay. The duty manger came over, who again had no idea how to retrieve my parcel. I explained I had paid for these goods and my money had been taken and now they are withholding my items. She didn’t really seem to care, she wasn’t able to confidently answer any of my questions without help from the kiosk member of staff. They then invited 2 other members of staff into the conversation who were more concerned about ‘why I had it delivered to this store if I don’t live here and I would need to sort someone else to collect it’. Non of them got my items for me and I had to leave the store without them, I asked for the store managers name and began to walk out. When exiting a member of staff made a sly comment and they continued to stand in circle and discuss me. They were discussing it and watching me leave. The customer service I have experienced is a first, I will be delighted to tell the store manager of the poor behaviours of his staff."
"Visited early Sunday morning to avoid it being crowded. Easy, free parking and trollies don't need coins or tokens. Wasn't very crowded, and about 50/50 still wearing masks. Obviously a good selection of food and household goods, didn’t notice many, if any empty shelves. They have self-scan, a cafe, opticians and a clothing section. The cafe was basically empty. Clear plastic barrier at checkout. No issues."
