"I am very disappointed with the lack of care in the store. Considering how much money supermarkets made during the pandemic, it's disappointing to see how little they've invested in staff and the upkeep of the shop, especially the toilets."
"So, what's happened to the recycling centre at the back of Sainsbury's? It's often in disarray and has been closed completely of late. Appeared to take all manner of clean plastics but now it's all going back in the black bin despite ever increasing awareness of recycling and environmental impact of waste plastic."
"Exceptionally poor. We ordered a Christmas delivery as soon as the slots were available. We also arranged a separate delivery for our elderly neighbour to arrive at the same time. We had no idea that we were not allowed two deliveries to the same address. No warning, payments taken for both, substitutions sent for both in the morning and then only our neighbours delivery arrived. We waited another 3hrs before chasing to see where our delivery was to be told that it had been cancelled because we weren’t allowed to have two deliveries. Again, no one called, payment taken, substitutes given. When we contacted customer service, we were met with rudeness and a lot of ‘as pers’. Even though THEIR system allowed us to book 2 deliveries, THEIR system took payment, THEIR pickers collected the food, not one of THEIR staff contacted us to tell us that 4 days before Christmas our food delivery was cancelled. We still don’t have our refund so we need to fork out another £150 and arrange to pick up our own food. Very very poor customer service with not an ounce of empathy."
"Parking. Free parking if using Sainsburys, plenty of disabled and a good amount of parent child. can be slow getting out at busy times. For the first gwo hours. Service. Thought it would be disorganised chaos looking at the layout outside the front of the store but it was actually okay inside. Shelves were reasonably well stocked but they still struggle with value for money. They're pushing 'locked prices' which offer reasonable value, the rest is noticeably expensive. All the Covid measures were in place and I felt reasonably safe shopping, although some of the customer's struggled with the current necessary ettiquettes'. Staffs. Really good checkout experience, served by Suzanne with good down to earth friendly service. Cost. Comparing others in the same vicinity bit expensive if you hold a discount card or coupon don't hesitate to use it."
"Vegan all-day breakfast at 1pm was not a good idea. The sausages were so dried up that one skidded off the plate when we tried to cut it. Vegan breakfast at 10:30 a few weeks ago was very good, so don't be put off by this review if you're there in the morning. It may be OK later if they cook fresh after lunchtime - post a review you try it."
