"Awful receptionists. They hardly pick up the phone and when they do, they fob you off and never call back as promised. 5 phone calls, 2 months and they still haven't managed to speak to my dentist who is in the room less than 2m from their desk. Oh, never mind, just leave me in pain. No pay rises deserved there!"
"Always running late Every time you go they always say you need to see hygienist when I only went 3 weeks before and at a shocking price. Always filling out loads of forms by hand rather than online. Why am I always asked the same question every time when I answered them 4 weeks earlier non covid related. Never the same staff on reception bring back Charlie she was the best. They are always unapproachable, with faces like thunder and just rude. You can clearly see none of them like there jobs. I’m sure a receptionist is meant to be front of house and welcoming but here you can’t get out the place quick enough. Cancelled my daughter last appointment 30 minutes before and wasn’t given another one for 6 weeks. Always blaming covid for them running late and a long list of other get outs of to why they don’t meet standards. Personally there are a lot better places to go than here. So glad to see the back of this non helpful dentist that only want money every time you go."
"I have been with this dentist for many years, sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen .. it happens .. my dentist is patient and lovely as I am a nervous customer.. however the receptionist was so so rude and unprofessional she should definitely not be working in customer care truly shocking, I had to hang up in the end. I receive free dental treatment and was told “tough” on the phone when I questioned about having to pay £70 for a clean."
"I've been a patient at this dental practice for more than 15 years. I never complain when I have to wait a long time to be seen, as I understand that emergencies arise. I also never complain when they change my appointments. However, I contacted them 2 weeks ago as a filling in my front tooth fell out and was very cosmetically obvious. I wasn't in any pain, so as my dentist was not in until the following week, I held on. I was the first appointment of the day at 0930 but was not called in until almost 9.40, then to be told by the dentist that they only had me booked in for an emergency for 15 minutes and couldn't carry out any treatment other than a temporary filling (which I could have had the week before). When I said I wasn't happy about this, I was told it was my choice to have a temporary or no treatment! The dentist blamed the receptionist for only booking 15 minutes. I then went and spoke to the receptionist, who, on 3 occasions answered a ringing phone whilst I was talking with her and ignored me to deal with the phone call! She blamed the dentist and said that I should have known to book a longer appointment! Apparently, I have to have dental expertise as a patient! I was pushed from pillar to post for 10 minutes and, understandably was very frustrated and said that I wanted a copy of my medical records and that I would be moving - I was told by the dentist that I was rude...…...unbelievable! Eventually, the dentist said that she would do the permanent filling but that I was going to hold everyone up for the day and that they would have to stay late to make up the time. Despite the fact that I pointed out that she had kept me waiting for 10 minutes from 0930 to 0940, she proceeded to complain to the dental nurse, whilst treating me, about me holding everyone up. The treatment actually took less than 15 minutes, so had she started on time, they would have continued to run to schedule. I am aware that a lot of local people, including several members of my own family, all of whom have been long standing patients have moved to new dentists as a result of poor dental treatment and non existent customer service, being put under pressure to have private and unnecessary treatments and treated with no regard. The reception staff are an embarrassment - no professionalism or ability to manage customers. They currently have no practice manager - which comes as no surprise to me as it clearly isn't a nice environment to work in. I was also charged band 2 which covers fillings, but also cleaning and examination, none of which I received. Very very disappointed. I've been a loyal and understanding patient for many years and this is what I got in return! Clearly, I will be moving."
