"Visited Cath Simm within MSK Platt House, she is an absolute star. Had issues for years and she has helped me within 3 weeks, i cant thank her enough. I hope she gets to see / hear about this review as she needs to be recognised as a hero. Thank you so much Cath, all the best"
"Dr Ullah's attitude put me off to see him since I registered with his practice in 2021. Finally I gathered my courage to see him today. It was a big mistake. He suggested all my physical symptoms were due to my anxiety after he failed to find out the cause. When I suggested if those symptoms were caused by a medicine I took for long term, he started to look up this medicine in his 'bible' and then he said to me he couldn't find it, so he still doesn't know the side effects of this medicine, however, when I booked the appointment to see him, I particularly emphasized to review this medicine. When he took my blood pressure, I had to lift my arm in the air for him until he got the figures. When he asked me to lie down on the couch for examination, I noticed he even didn't change the tissue sheet which was so wrinkled and obviously already been used. I feel it is so common for him not to greet to patients, no apology and a big arrogant attitude which make you feel so small. 100% I Will NOT recommend this surgery."
"Friendly and helpful receptionist staff. Lovely Dr really easy to speak to. Minimal waiting time. Great service guys! Thank you x"
"On;y been once so far, for therapy pool. Knocked off one star for not being sent directions to main car park. Therapy was fab as were the staff However, satnav took me round back. Still don't know how to access main car park. My car has an auto ramp for wheelchair. Most don't leave room at all for the ramp or insufficient room to load wheelchair in/out, so I'm always anxious. Most NHS disabled parking (esp Boston House, Frog Lane) NOT monitored. No ' BLUE BADGE ONLY' signs, so non disabled just park there anyway. Someone said the local school use it too. People forget WHY disabled spaces are there....because some of us have bad mobility, & to be fair some have temporary need of a disabled space eg sprain etc, but if you KNOW you aren't disabled you should not use them!"
"I have been seen by Dr Khan a while ago for a bruised and swollen arm that became incredibly painful seconds after having a blood test made at Thomas Linacre Centre. Dr Khan was moody as soon as I’ve entered the room with my 5 years old, there was no greeting, he requested to examine my arm and when he started to hurt me by pressing against my bruises I’ve made him aware. Well Dr Khan didn’t take it likely. In what world does a Dr take offence when you tell him that his way of examining you hurts? There was no reassurance from him whatsoever but a lot of ignorance and arrogance instead. I didn’t want to cause a scene in front of my child so I requested to see another GP. Dr Khan went to Reception and made everyone aware about the consultation (most probably that he was in the right and I was being difficult) and with tears in my eyes and my son by my side they refused giving me their name for a referral. Yes, the receptionist refused to tell me her name! I waited a couple of minutes in the waiting room then another receptionist walked me to Dr Ullah’s office where a nurse was present as well. Dr Ullah examined my arm in a gentle manner and dealt with my problem and I have to say no one at the surgery asked me if I was ok, why was I crying or asked me to speak about my encounter with Dr Khan! What a disgrace! My whole arm was blue/purple! Dr Khan, if you don’t like your job there’s plenty of roles available in other domains, patients do not book appointments with their GP for fun! I Do Not Recommend The Surgery! I have moved to Alexander House ever since and it is a better service compared to Dr Ullah’s Surgery, the GP’s are pleasant and efficient and the receptionists are providing an excellent customer service. Unfortunately the two surgeries are soo close to each other and every single time I visit Alexander House Surgery I get flashback and anxiety due to my previous horrible experience with Dr Khan."
