"I attended this clinic on a Thursday and Friday evening, with my partner who was in severe pain, after calling 111 both times and being referred there. My partner has severe social anxiety as well so I have to attend appointments with him as a carer. The dentist on the Thursday night was extremely helpful! She wasn't judgemental at all, was polite, comforting and provided all the information and helped us understand things we didn't know much about. The dentist on the Friday however, was absolutely appalling. She was polite enough to my partner but was extremely rude to me. She basically told me off and had a go at me for bringing him back when he needed it and 111 are the ones who referred him because they wanted him to be seen. The fear was that he had an infection so needed to be seen in 12hours to sort it out. I came out of that practice Friday feeling extremely upset and uncomfortable with how I was treated and spoken to. It was definitely not okay. It was intimidating, hurtful, uncomfortable, and many other things."
