"This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and once again, I was made to feel immensely welcome. I was greeted by a very bubbly and helpful receptionist Rachel, who checked me. I was then guided to my room where I was greeted with a large room with a very comfy Superking size bed. I dropped my bags in the room and headed to the bar / restaurant. The food and service was fantastic and I was well looked after. This was mainly down to Steven behind the bar and who couldn't do enough to help you. Very lovely relaxed friendly vibe in the Bar area. I look forward to staying again when I am next in the area."
"I was impressed my twin room size, it was clean and comfortable. Shower water temperature was warm however I prefer hotter water, hence only 4*'s allocated. Heard some guests water was cold and they had children with them. Service was good, bar staff at event very helpful and attentive."
"Very clean spacious room. Shower not amazingly big but very manageable. A bit of a wait for food when i stayed but there was also 2 functions happening at the same time so I have no issues with that as it just was busy . Location is amazing for Leamington spa and Stratford areas. Nice large front beer garden and tables outside for eating. Big grassy area at the back with tables also. A very nice place to be and decent 2 for 1 pub grub. Very friendly staff too!"
"Lovely helpful friendly staff, clean room, plenty of towels, toiletries etc, breakfast was lovely as was the evening meal we had. Our room had an issue with the shower which we mentioned on our way out, literally they were fixing it before we had left the hotel. Great location couldn't ask for more"
"Greeted with a. Do you want something. Ordered food at 20:40 due to kitchen closing at 20:45 even though website states 21:00. Loaded fries were excellent. However that’s where it stopped. My scotch egg was dry inside. The butter chicken was burnt. On raising this I was told it’s how it comes. ‘Manager’ came over took the food and came back telling me that ‘we have all tried it, it’s fine’. Why would everyone try it…anything could have been done to the food. I asked for a an exchange for the chicken. Got told no, and cannot have a refund. Honestly it’s disgraceful!! I look forward to meeting the manager tomorrow."
