"Arrived today to have my front tyres changed and wheel alignment. When I arrived I was told they didn’t have my tyres and the wheel alignment had been broken for 4 days. When I asked if I could go to a different branch to do the job today as I had taken a day off work I was told that I should call them and ask. After persuading the man behind the counter to call them and explain I was told I should wait for a call back to see if they have the tyres. I drove down and spoke to the other branch who where very helpful and told me that they did not have the tyres and had explained this to the man behind the counter originally. It seems I was being told anything to get me out of the shop. I will not use this national tyres again which is a shame. It seems like standards have slipped since Halfords have taken over. Not to worry. I found another garage nearby that provided a good service at a lower cost."

"I went for an MOT at the Borehamwood centre. My MOT appointment was at 9:00 am and was asked to be there 10 mins before the appointment and I did arrive at 8:45 am. Staffs were pretty much robotic, no greetings, no extra smiles, I dropped the key went outside and then within minutes I enterened the shop again - but the lady at the counter didn't even recognise me, so I had to explain that I just a minute back dropped my key for the MOT. I was given a start of the job at 9:24 am. So I already have a wait time of ~40 mins given that I arrived at 8:45. Now, there came someone else who had an appointment at 10:10 am but he was given a "job start" time at 11:54 am. This was scary. Nowhere in the online booking form it was written that the appointment time is different than the "job start" time. If it had happened to me I would have been in serious trouble because all my planning would have been upside down. So double check with them if you understand your appointment time properly and plan accordingly. I finally got the keys back at about 10:30 am. No one came and explained anything in the MOT report, the lady when handed over the key didn't mention bother to mention there will be report sent out over email; no other courtesy, no smile, no thank you at all, no interaction."

"I promised myself no to book at halfords auto Centre due to past experiences. Booked in next door national tyres. I took my cars there for mot .Always failing. Promised myself never to go there again after scratching up my newly refurbished alloys when doing a tyre change.I will never go to either ones again for anything.They never answer their phones even their own head off can't get through.looks like its just failures and money for repairs that keeps them active.found a better garage in Enfield cheaper but all mechanics have their certificate on show.they point out the fault and tell u him much.National tyres mot tester now think he's an electrical engineer.NEVER AGAIN."
