"Popped in for a coffee and a bite to eat. The Wetherspoons app is superb ,take a seat enter your table number, order what you want, job done no cuing no Afro. Superb food at great prices and friendly staff. Highly recommend"
"Lovely big pub with plenty of space: booths, tables and hi tops. Lots of natural light from the large windows around three sides of the site. Ornate art-deco around the bar with interesting lighting options. Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar."
"Had a nice meal out with a friend, decent prices. Just don't order the standard steak with a jacket potato because it looked unappealing and I'm sure the staff were embarrassed bringing it out, I know I would have been. A tiny salad garnish would have helped, possibly, as a small bit of steak and small jacket rolling around the plate was laughable"
"Beautiful pub, food good as always, could have wiped down the tables as ours was sticky… staff however friendly"
"This was a 9am breakfast in the beergarden. The tables hadn't been cleaned yet, but we made do (and someone started tidying etc as we ate). We ordered via the app and got everything we wanted. We used to come and have breakfast here many times years ago, but then stopped for one or more reasons. As always, the Mushroom Benedict (2 poached eggs on a mushroom and English muffin with Hollandaise sauce) was OK, but not great. The eggs were hard boiled and the mushroom just wet. (Grill it, don't boil it). The sauce was tasty. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices."
