"Ordered in stock item, to then be told not in stock. Our order was delivered when we were on holiday, unbeknown to us, signed for by a workman, damaged chair and missing the parasol. Delivery driver took pictures to send on to the company. They refuse all knowledge, it’s our fault. Customer service is non existent. We were going to order another 2 sets, but will take our money elsewhere."
"I ordered an outside garden table and 8 chairs, with a Lazy Susan last spring which I had to wait several weeks for. I paid quite a lot extra for the table to be unpacked and assembled, which it was, and I was pleased with the service. The table and chairs looked lovely. I rang the company and asked what I should be putting on the teak wood to protect it. Sadly I was given the wrong information and the table became dark and grey very quickly. Following my negative review here, having been in touch with Cotswold Teak about the state of the table, I was contacted by one of the Directors who was anxious to make amends. He explained their family had just taken over the business and was unhappy I'd been given the wrong information. He very kindly offered to come and clean up the table for me, and he did just that. He also brought with him teak oil and teak waterproof products which he would not accept payment for. So all praise to Cotswold Teak. My table is back to looking lovely, and I have been given the correct advice on how to look after it. Below is a photo of the table after he'd cleaned and oiled it. Thank you."
"Terrible product and terrible aftercare service. Buy at your peril. Table has developed cracks in all 4 legs. 8 out of 8 chairs have structural cracks, some of them dangerous and company refuses to replace or offer refund. We understand teak develops grain openings but these are cracks. They originally offered a replacement for table and one chair and when I pointed out that we'd end up with mismatching furniture they withdrew their offer. Be warned and choose a company with better product and one prepared to stand by it."
"I bought two steamer chairs and the quality has been poor. They are held together with cheap brass-coloured bolts that shear off very easily. I have requested replacements a couple of times but am still waiting. I've had to repair them myself a couple of times now. Last week, one of the legs split after only minimal use, so another repair with PVA glue and bolts. I do not recommend."
"Excellent quality furniture and very helpful delivery man. The table and chairs will last for years. Very happy customer. Would definitely recommend."
