"Stayed for 2 nights at the King William 1V at Sedgeford Norfolk. Our room was nice and the meals were lovely ,even though the girl serving forgot to put our order in ! All nice until a couple of hours after checking out and a phone call and email saying we had left without paying,which we in fact had done on booking in.The tone of the email was very upsetting which was made worst by no apology once they realized that the fault was theirs . Sadly we won't be going back there and can only advice anyone who does to make sure they get a receipt once they have paid,which luckily we did ."

"How can a business take over a thriving pub/restaurant and ruin it? Just visit the Lord Nelson in Oakham to find out. Staff are too busy drinking and eating (at the small table by the bar) to provide any level of service to their clients. It used to be difficult to find a table here. Now there is plenty of space, a basic menu and it takes 45 minutes (still waiting) to serve a burger. Disappointing."

"My food poor poor value for money. I am giving it 2 stars because of the very friendly and efficient service. I was at the George and Pilgrims in Glastonbury. A lovely old pub steeped in history. I chose game pie with boiled potatoes and we shared a bowl of carrots and sprouts. I was expecting a pie with game meat in it. What I got was a beef and liver stew on a plate with two very small squares of pastry about 4 cms Square. I couldn't make an issue of this at the time as our dear friend had booked it up for us. For this I paid £18.95. It was really worth about £7.95. Not good at all and I will not return nor recommend it to anyone."

"I booked Xmas lunch online at the Dam Inn, Wakefield on 8/10/22 and a deposit was taken. Then I was contacted on 11/10/22 to say it would need to be cancelled as they were overbooked. I still haven’t had my deposit refunded despite emailing, messaging and telephoning this company and the pub directly!"

"Went to The Lion Inn, Boreham on our way to Heathrow. What a stunning venue. The team there are really friendly and warm and can’t do enough for you. Food was amazing. Manager was running about helping staff clear and serve tables, this says a lot when a manager is prepared to muck in with the team, she served us and nothing was too much trouble. Great start to our holiday. Will definitely visit again!"
