"We were really dissapointed with the pub. Just to clarify, we were visiting at a quiet time so it could be amazing on a Saturday night! On a Friday lunchtime the pub smelled bad. One side of the bar had a family in (no problem). The other side was dirty and looked like things had been dumped there from the other side of the bar while it was cleaned or something. We won't be back"

"Ok place, visited on a Sunday afternoon, was empty. Staff friendly though. Generally I don't mind a "lived" in pub but, it does need just a bit a spruce up. Tired looking place inside. With some nice historical features inside could be lovely. Good size garden."
