"What an absolute gem of a place. Great value. Very good food that can challenge a lot of higher priced establishments. I had a succulent roast pancetta and a Wonderful Guinness dark chocolate cake with afrogato. Bitter sweet and grown up decadence. Customer service was attentive and very good. I will be coming back."
"Nice pub with good food. They also have a nice variety of beers and ciders. The fish and chips were nice and crispy, and the burger was delicious. Portions are pretty big. Service is quick and polite."
"What a great find when searching " Google " for ' dog friendly pub's ' . A warm welcome for us and our 2 dogs . The pub was clean , spacious and with plenty of seating . Food was quick , fresh and delicious. The chips seemed bottomless . Plenty of parking around the back , don't forget to register you car when entering the pub . This gave us 4 hrs , so we took the dogs for a walk up the High Street and along the river after lunch ."
"Stopped off for a quick lunch. Not a great amount of choice for veggies but what we had was really good. We both had mushrooms on sough dough bread and shared the skin on fries. Friendly and quick service. Very nice"
