"I cannot thank the staff enough for a lovely lunch with my old mum. I asked for a quiet corner and it was perfect. Food was great and reasonably priced and the staff were amazing. So polite, accommodating and smiley! It was great, thank you so much, made my life so much easier!! Wish we lived closer!"
"75% of the menu is unavailable which is incredibly disappointing. No steaks available at all!! Quicker to tell what is available than look at the menu. A real let down!! The picture is the hand battered Atlantic Cod, £12.49 plus 50p each for the scampi. By the time the batter was removed the bit of cod was very small, having been told that this was going to be a large piece of fish, the reality was laughable. Better value at a chip shop!!"
"The pub itself is really nice - decent decor and super friendly staff. We had a starter board with seafood and kebabs and it was really yummy. However the mains not so much. Hunters chicken and the pie were really dry and the veg looked and tasted like the frozen bag you get from the supermarket. The steak was cooked perfectly - medium rare - but the steak itself was ropey and chewy - a cheap cut. The Mac cheese was a disaster. Mushy and starchy. Not sure how you even get Mac cheese like that? The one thing that made my night was the fact the toilet door was so close to the toilet - you had to straddle the toilet to shut the door! No fatty puffs going toilet in here!"
"Really disappointed, food poor and service so slow Could of had a better burger at a road side greasy spoon for 1/4 of price! Lettuce and salad well past sell by. Shame as actual pub and decor is good."
