"Absolutely speeches! Turned up 25 minutes late with no apology or explanation. My daughter and I had planned an afternoon in Alderney and the ride was a short journey from her house which previously with other cabs never cost more than £10. He charged £15. When we asked him to check with the office he said he was the office and that was his price and stopped his car in the middle of the road on a dangerous, narrow bend on the Alderly road asking us whether we wanted the journey and if not to get out . He said that we were doing his head in and was so very rude to us ! My daughter said he should not speak to us like that but we decided to continue with the journey as we had no option tbh and we're now 30 minutes late . When we arrived in Alderly we rang the office to complain about our journey but they didn't take us seriously . The can was a van and the windows did not open at all . It was like a prison we couldn't wait to get out! We will never use cab co again and do not believe they are a family business. We will be taking this further!"

"DO NOT USE THESE AT ALL. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM. I have complained to the council licensing department. I advise others to do the same if they receive similar service. We pre booked a taxi a couple of days before to pick us up after our festival at capesthorne hall at 11:30pm the taxi was confirmed on the day we booked and again on the day of the booking. I called cabco at 11:25pm to say we would be on time at our pickup point. The operator said not to worry our driver is running a little late he’s finishing a job in Sutton and then will come for us. So we sat and waited for 30 minutes. Then we got a call from the operator to say the 6 seater has broken down so they will send another one and for us to wait. Another 45 minutes passed it’s now 12:45am and nothing has arrived. We call up again and this time the operator says the 6 seater driver has clocked off and gone home. So I said that’s ok are you sending another vehicle to which the operator replied no we don’t have any. If we hadn’t called up to see where it was I have no doubt in mind the company were going to leave us there without even calling us to say they weren’t and couldn’t send anyone for us. I was absolutely gobsmacked that they could do that to someone. For all they know we could’ve been a group of young females left all alone on a country lane at almost 1am in the morning. This is not acceptable in anyway. Bearing in mind this taxi was pre booked and all other taxi companies had no available cars. We had no choice but to make the 1hr 30 min walk home instead. Not getting home until 2:30am absolutely exhausted and frustrated. How is a taxi company like this able to operate and how can they get away with leaving customers in a potentially risky situation?"

"Explicitly mentioned I will be doing a card payment as I was using a long distance cab. I was never told during booking but on arrival I was asked to pay 20 quid more. As this was my 2nd instance I was aware of this hidden charge. However it was frustrating I had to wait for 20 mins after my ride so that they can settle card transfer on call. Finally ended up paying in cash. Not sure if its just me or they do it on purpose as both time I had the same experience."
