"Where do I start? Divorce is hard enough, and a protracted legal battle over the financial settlement just makes the process even harder. In my case, that battle started in 2011 and lasted some 11 years. It wasn’t until I engaged Evolve Family Law in late 2016, that I finally made progress. In mid 2017, Robin and his team obtained a variation to the financial order that gave me some hope for the future. We went from a lifetime order for an unrealistic amount, to a fixed term order for a much reduced, and manageable, amount. I suspect Robin and the team hoped they had seen the last of me. Unfortunately, I lost my job at the outbreak of Covid, and could no longer meet my commitments. I contacted Evolve again, and Robin suggested we seek to vary the order through arbitration.
