"Iam student of University in my country"
"A lovely location but an uncomfortable experience. I can just about tolerate the thievery and exploitation upon which the very existence of the British Museum is founded , but no amount of historical context or creative internationalism could excuse the price of my coffee and cake. And despite having literally just bought said coffee and cake, we were told we had to leave immediately for the museum was closign, the plates taken from under our noses. Why did they serve us if this was the case? Just like the original owners of most of the exhibited items, our experience was ignored and our personhood was undermined. We were charged £8 for the pleasure. I know it's just a cafe at a museum, and that I am grateful for and enriched by the British Museum as a source of knowledge and space of learning, but, like, get your coffee and cake somewhere else. If you're going to this museum to find enlightenment or understanding, don't let this cafe take you for a fool."
"Nice place to take a rest and have some snacks and drinks."
"Nothing too fancy and not so cheap. But the food was pretty good in my opinion."
"Prices have shot up recently – the cakes now start at £4.75, coffees from £3.20, and alternative milks an additional 30p!"
