"Foragers brunch was amazing, definitely recommended, you’ll never go wrong with chicken and avo. Their berry smoothie was good too, but the pancakes were a lil hard, not as fluffy as imagined… be there early to avoid the queue especially on weekends!"
"I really wanted to like this place but sadly it didn't meet up to expectations. The staff were all very polite to me but service was incredibly slow and a majority of people were having to come inside to pay just to get the attention to be able to pay. They were obviously rushed off their feet so I do feel for them as lots of people were complaining. In terms of the good I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and a side of hash browns. The hash browns were expensive for the number that their were (in pic) however tasty and nicely seasoned. The quesadilla was nice in flavour and the chorizo really yummy but the fried egg inside was overcooked and more like a well done scrambled egg and the avocado was almost non existent. The contents were not well spead out so one quarter barely had any contents. The tomato salsa on the top hover was a really tasty addition and I was grateful to get lots of it. They are charging a £2 per table charge road closure fee which feels a bit steep especially if you're on your own - it could end up being 20% of your bill. I'd heard such great things and it's obviously very popular bit sadly until these things are sorted I would not reccomend."
"Nice atmosphere and good customer service. We had brunch here today and we enjoyed it. We had Turkish eggs with Halloumi which I found very spicy, even I like spicy food but I found it extra spicy and the halloumi was a bit burned so couldn’t finish it. Partner had Halloumi wrap and he found really good. The little one had chicken nuggets and I like that it was served in kids plate. We also had juices, hot chocolate and flat white and they all were good. I like that the cafe is kids and dogs friendly, for first time I wasn’t worrying that the little one could break a dish or cup as his food and drinks was offered in kids plate and paper cup."
"Enjoyed the quick service although they were busy. Did not have to wait long for the Turkish Eggs. Staff was also attentive, if you needed dessert or the bill. Outdoor seating with disabled access. One unisex toilet with baby changing facilities."
"Well laid out seating outdoors (there is a £1.50 levy per person for the road closure) meant that that we were able to have quite an enjoyable experience at Cafe Tamara. Service was also prompt and friendly. We had a flat white to start which was pretty good. For food we had the shakshuka and the vegan Lebanese breakfast. We felt the scrambled tofu in the vegan breakfast was a little bit too salty. I can’t fault the shakshuka which was lovely. Definitely a place we would visit again if we were in the area."
