"If you don’t believe food can be sexy, then you’ve never eaten at Frankie’s. I can not gush enough about how delicious this food is. I’ve been to this brunch café several times, and not only does the taste and quality of the food go above and beyond, but the presentation is remarkable. There’s always more food on the plate than described on the menu, including but not limited to, candy, pretzels, even cotton candy. Plus, everything I’ve ordered is dusted with eatable, golden glitter. Just like the walls are painted with subtle sparkles. They’re poached eggs are… only comparable to something that would be deemed inappropriate to put in a public review. And the atmosphere: a whole wall is dedicated to pink roses, you can see the cooks from where you’re sitting, and the staff are quite friendly. I love this place! Highly recommend it!"
"Lovely first experience here. Family friendly, lots of space inside (buggy friendly) and plenty of high chairs. Very relaxed atmosphere inside, you help yourself to menu, condiments which are readily available etc. Very busy and popular choice - took us a little while to get a table. We ordered the full Turkish breakfast and french toast. Both excellent. Portions are huge, we shared and still didn't finish. Fresh orange juice pressed on site too."
"I was visiting London for a few days and was looking for a good place to have breakfast. Came across this gem in Edgware and gave it a try. I have to say, the best breakfast within a budget in London you can get. I was blown away by the taste of it. And to top it off, I checked with the lovely waitress if the beef sausage was halal, her response was, "the cafe serves halal breakfast on request" which was the biggest plus point for me and my family. The taste was outstanding, the staff was friendly and everything was cooked fresh using the fresh ingredients. Up on digging deeper, the owner of the restaurant is Turkish, so that explains the halal option. I would definitely visit again and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best halal breakfast in London on a budget."
"I had morning coffee and toast at this lovely cafe on Edgeware Road while my husband was attending an appointment nearby. It was so good I took him back there for lunch! The menu is varied. The food is excellent, plentiful and inexpensive. I had chicken kebab with rice, salad and pitta and my husband had a fry up. Delicious. The chatter was lively between the customers and between customers and staff. As soon as you walked in you felt welcome. I just wish they had a cafe round the corner from me."
