Reviews
"Has someone new taken over? If they have then they need to up their game. I used to go here most days, the service, coffee and food were all excellent. So I hate to be leaving a bad review but maybe they will start to see these and improve. In the last 3 months it’s gone down hill, super slow grumpy service, 18 minute wait for one Americano, madness, sometimes hot, sometimes tepid coffee, it’s all a gamble depending on the staff. Staff turnover seems super high recently which speaks volumes and the nice laid back vibe has gone. It’s a real shame as Kingston lacks cool independent places to grab a coffee."
"Midday on a Monday afternoon, dropped in for coffee and flapjack. The coffee was okay. The flapjack was excellent. But the staff were horrid. They don’t want to be there. No smiles. No pleasantries. Very slow. Shame."
"Sadly, the food options here have shrunk to toasties and cake. Just two toasties on the menu, both pre-made. The pesto, tomato and mozzarella toastie I had was tasty but very soggy. A wet sandwich filling, soaked into the bread, and not properly toasted. I hope normal service is resumed soon!"
"Opp the big sainsbury in Kingston. In the Cycle exchange shop. Excellent coffee and all day breakfast. Probably the best eggs Florentine I have had. Staff our super friendly. If your in the neighbourhood at sSainsbury or Seven Kings car park it's a worth a drop in for a quick coffee. Casual vibe. It's become a regular drop in for me."
"Tasty, affordable and creative food. The pic is their "American" pancakes. Eggs are on each layer. They have very creative Eggs Florentine too that uses potato instead of a bread base. Top notch nosh!"
