"We have just got back from there with the grandchildren . It’s the first time we have been there since it’s refurbish. It looks nice but everything it to crammed together. There is a claustrophobic feel to the place. The seating area is very cramped and the pool tables are very close to it. That’s not ideal when young children are around. I am surprised no one gets pocked in the head with a cue. In the soft play area you have to queue past the shared entrance and exit to the play area. Making difficult for children to get in and out of their. And the table and chairs are very close together. The tables are low and the chairs are narrow tub type chairs. Not very comfortable for a disabled person. There is no room by the soft play area to park a wheelchair. But and it’s a big But the place is totally not wheelchair or mobility scooter friendly when the place is busy. Even trying to navigate around everyone and the furniture while using my walking stick was extremely difficult and frustrating and I did not feel very safe trying to get round. The disabled toilets are far away and once I struggled to get through everything found that the toilets are locked. Yes it’s locked with a radar key but if you haven’t got one or not took it with you then you will have to use the main toilets if you are capable of doing so. The disabled toilets also double up as a babies changing room. Do parents have a radar key ? or will have to change the baby’s elsewhere. I didn’t see any signs to say you need a key for the toilets. Maybe it would be a good idea to put some up."
"Place has been revamped and looking great. We only went for bowling this time, but there are pool tables, karaoke booths, arcade machines, softplay, so something for everyone. They have great offers on for most days of the week. We took the kids before going back to school, so had 50% off games and certain drinks are also half price. (Tues only) Toilets were clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our visit!!"
"Fantastic place to take the family for a few hours fun. We visited to look at booking a children's party here and Jo kindly showed us round and explained everything. Very professional and can't fault the customer service. Value for money wise for a child's party from say aged 4 to 12 or even older you can't go wrong. Highly recommend."
"Been here a few times. Passes the time with the kids. I've found it's best to go earlier in the mornings before the kids' birthday parties start and you have to put up with bad etiquette from people in adjoining lanes. A few arcade machines and food area as well, so can do a few things outside of bowling. Plenty of parking too."
"We had a lovely time here. The centre had reliable lanes, enough bowling balls for everyone in the group and good lane service for drinks. The staff seemed very friendly. The only downside was the waiting time at the bar, the service was very slow and for a weekend it seemed they needed more staff behind there ,Or just another area to serve coffee only."
