"Update on below review which was previously left just before Christmas. My car has just failed an MOT due to national tyres putting tyres on the wrong way. Further complaint has been sent and I'm considering contacting tradindg service or motor ombudsman as regards this location and disgracful service and workmanship...Avoid. Absolute disgrace. Booked car in on a Friday for 3pm Tues just to have 2 tyres fitted. Turned up 10min early and was told could by some time so give you ring when ready. Wasn't told at time would be a drop off as only having 2 tyres fitted. Anyway I said I'll wait. 3.50pm actually started on job. I have severe arthritis and as their is also no seating at all in waiting room I was forced to sit on floor as couldn't stand much longer. Someone else then came in for 4 tyres to be fitted so he worked on both cars same time making me wait even longer. Eventually job done 4.40pm. Another customer had to help me off the floor and I had to cancel hospital appointment for which I now have to wait for another appointment. This place is a total disgrace. Never ever use this place again"
"Prices quoted were almost double what I eventually paid elsewhere and I was told I could not book an appointment but had to leave my car with them for a whole day (to replace two tyres). So not customer orientated in the least."
"I'm extremely disappointed in the service I've received from National Tyres in Widnes. I booked an appointment for a tyre replacement at 11.00 today. Arrived 10 minutes before as you requested in your imessage, only to be told it's now a 'drop in' service and that 4 cars had arrived earlier than mine as drop in's, so they couldn't tell me when my car would be seen after them. I told them I had an appointment but that didn't seem to make any difference. I cancelled my appointment and I've come away feeling I'll never go back or recommend the service to anyone else. I've booked in with another provider based in Huyton for later today."
"Booked in mot. Car failed on 4 points. Tried to book car in couldn't give me a price. Wiper blade headlight adjustment and bulb. Took the car back within the 10 days having completed jobs. Refused to book me in until after 10 days had expired. Full MOT test pay again. A rip off.Really poor service. Never again."
