"Superb dance school teaching various disciplines in little old Macclesfield. The teachers have guided my daughters to be able to perform, compete, and excel in any dance and performance situation to very high standards. Add to this the camaraderie they share with the other members of the school with shared interests and goals that they count amongst their best friends, there is a genuine team atmosphere. There have been many times where we have needed advice outside of school times regarding costume or shoe preparation and both Miss Rawle or Gabriella have helped in every way, including taking out the needle and thread to do the work themselves. Both my daughter’s started at the school as 3 year olds and have loved every minute of their dance education they have received from the Rawle School. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to take dance seriously, as exercise, or for the main thing which is fun."
"My daughters have been attending Rawle School of Dance for 8 and 6 years now respectively. During this time, they have made so much progress within their dancing abilities and also levels of confidence. Miss Rawle and Gabs are extremely knowledgeable, but also very approachable and personable, they strive to get the best out of your child in a friendly manner. I would definitely recommend this dance school and I look forward to seeing my daughters develop further and make many more happy memories here."
"Happy children and such lovely performances to celebrate all their achievements, especially the summer school which all three of my children looked forward to attending every year. Well done The Rawle School of Dance what a wonderful local school and such a professional and nurturing environment."
"If I could give 0 stars I would..... Archaic teaching methods, with no concept of understanding my child's emotional requirements, or how to engage them with respect. The teacher decided to cut my 4 year old daughter's laces on her brand new ballet shoes with no explanation to her as to why! My daughter was distraught and began crying inconsolably, like any child would. The result of this was my daughter being told by the teacher to stop crying as she was acting like a baby, the teacher continues to say she has 2 year olds that don't act as silly as her! My daughter then sat out the session due to being upset for around 30 minutes whilst the session continued.. At no point were we contacted to come and pick her up before the session ended, despite my wife waiting in the car park the entire time, and the teacher knew she was there!! As a teaching facility you assume a duty of care for the students and you clearly have no concept of what that involves. This is not a military academy or the 1950's. Belittling children to get them to respond positively doesn't work .. I firmly do NOT recommend this dance school.."
