"We Love the railway me and my partner we go past many pubs to go here instead Best atmosphere and lovely staff and people here all genuine old school pub lots of great memories here going back to childhood to my mum and dad used to love it they drank here for 30 odd years they stood in the same spot by the hatch lol I love the karaoke nights to and the regulars are good genuine people never ever felt in danger the railway is by far the best for a good Day or night out"
"Good pub off the beaten track of South Road, CLEAN compared to other venues in the area. Match days (red) often give you scouse, pea soup or curry(season start is sandwiches or wraps, who wants hot food when it's hot?). Good pub, good regulars, belter little beer garden in the summer. Just a good proper pub on Merseyside."
