"My daughter goes there, and its a great collage, clean and safe. 5*"
"It's an awesome place to study. Highly recommended college!"
"Really good college definitely recommend!!"
"I left this college 2 years ago. The majority of teachers fail to make classes interesting or even informative. ( Film studies however had some really amazing tutors, but it was alone in that. ) In fact, I found some teachers in particular were rather aggressive and would resort to scare tactics (telling students they're going to fail, even though their work was only slightly below target) rather than helping students improve. The support for those who suffer with disabilities which are not serve enough to warrant them being in a separate special needs class is non existent. In fact, I was told multiple times that 'others have it worse' when arranging meetings to discuss how to improve my grades which had been affected by an almost crippling health issue. I was treated like a child and despite maturely putting forward my argument I was basically told if I don't like it I can leave. Their tone however completely changed when my mother came in to complain. Apparently even though students here are on the cusp of becoming adults, they won't be treated as such. I am now at university and thriving, luckily I got an unconditional so the BCD grades I received did not halt the progress in my education. However, I am now having to retake some of my A levels at an open college along side my degree as I wish to take a second degree in the future. From talking to friends who went else where, there aren't many (if any) good colleges in the Stockport area, however I can whole heartedly say if I had my time over, I would of given somewhere else a shot over this unorganised mess of a college. I could also go on to say how construction was taking place when I studied here. A worker with a jackhammer was working outside the window of my ground floor English class for 2 weeks straight and rendered the class unable to hear a word the tutor was saying. Another temporary classroom had no windows, unpainted concrete walls (which got extremely hot) and not enough seats. However I hope for the sake of those currently studying here this work has now finished."
