"What an amazing little place for food. Can't believe we've not been before but will definitely return and recommend to others. My little girl loved the chicken goujons starter, but when her child's steak came out it was quite medium rare. To be fair webhadnt specifically asked which way it was to be cooked, but we assumed being a kids meal it would be cooked more. No hassles sending it back and appologies from the kitchen. The waiting on staff were attentive and friendly. If you get chance to try the wild mushroom starter- I can definitely recommend it!! Our families meals were all enjoyed and finished. Not a huge pudding selection but well made. Will be looking forward to going back again soon. Hubby can't wait to make his way through the cask ales either :)"

They opened upstairs up just so they could offer us a table, although we hadn't asked and it was very busy so we were about to leave but the nice fella behind the bar clocked us. The food is beautiful and the portions generous. I will be returning. Thank you."
"We had our Christmas doo last night. The food was absolutely amazing. I had belly pork and black pudding. Delicious. Only slight disappointment i could say is 2 meals were a little late coming but apart from that a wonderful meal with great company"
