"I had my party at Greg street working Mens, I went there around 12:45 after being told I can enter the room from 12 I went and the room was an absolute mess, Christmas decorations left around the room, wooden tables stacked up, slow cookers, left over food, used plates, pictures up on the wall, Christmas lights all on the stage I didn’t complain just helped tidy the room didn’t think anything of it these things happen, I spoke to the bar maid on shift and she said she’s embarrassed the state the room was and helped me tidy up when she had time, there was bits all over the floor so we asked for a brush and cleaned up ourself Anyway, we set up for my room to come at the night to find all the slow cookers just placed outside the door and all the decorations behind the bar, again didn’t complain as these things happen. I go to collect my deposit back to find £40 was taken off me because I had some foil numbers and sequins on the table (On a disposable table cloth easy to clean up) which I wasn’t told I can’t have these on. I was also told the room wasn’t left in a ‘respectful manner’ the only things left in the room was the table clothes, chair covers and the buffet which I was coming to tidy on the Sunday. My mum rang up a few days before my party and was told there’s no rush to tidy up as they didn’t have a booking on the Sunday. I went on Sunday and tidied the room up and left it clean. I messaged the landlord who didn’t seem bothered that she’s taken £40 from me for no reason at all really, and then to ignore my following messages. I’ve never had a problem with Greg street but I definitely won’t be using this again after having money taken off me for absolutely no reason at all! The amount of money we must have put behind the bar that night to be robbed of £40! it’s not been just the £40 it’s the principal of it all"

"RWMC is the oldest working mens club in the Country. You are guaranteed a wam welcome, a good choice of beers, Sky/BT football and a super Games Room. Given the current climate, the Club remains open with all the necessary safeguards in place. The beautifully furnished lounge and concert room offer music and hosts a variety of different activities throughout the year.. Many of the beers and ciders are discounted and members enjoy the full benefits on offer for less than 50p per week. We look forward to your visit. You won't be disappointed. The Club is available for Family gatherings, receptions, various activities and music nights. Please contact the Secretary via Facebook and RWMC website."
"Great club with bargain prices and membership costs. Good selection of beers in tap and you can even get a decent Guinness. Plenty of screens too for watching the football."
