I don’t always have specific designs but when I do they’re completed to a really high standard. Definitely recommend :)"

"I visited today at 2:30 - it was the worst nail experience I have ever had. The man who did my nails was incredibly rude and unfriendly. I felt uncomfortable from the start and throughout. He went straight into drilling and filing my nails without asking me what I wanted (e.g shape, length). When telling him I didn't want them filed down he continued and a lady had to come over and tell him what I meant. The entire way through doing my nails he didn't speak a word to me, instead pointed, grunted and was fairly aggressive with my hands. The end result was awful, nail polish all over my hands, parts missed on my nails, bumpy and uneven - my nails very also incredibly painful from the drilling. He didn't say it was finished he just walked off. I spoke to another lady and said I wasn't too happy with my nails and she did her best to attempt to fix them. I mentioned how I found him rude and was unhappy with the service and was offered £2 off the total price. She stated that because his English wasn't very good that was the reason for the poor service - for me that isn't a valid excuse. I will never be going back here again and I recommend elsewhere. EDIT: I went to a different professional salon to have the gel that wasn't chipped off removed about 6 days after. They were disgusted by the state of my nails which are destroyed. I told them what had happened at York Nails + Spa and they said that they had heard bad reviews before. My nails are still painful now and weaker then they have ever been. They are red underneath in the places where they were drilled beyond belief. I have taken pictures to show how damaged after over a month and how healthy the regrowth is in comparison. I ended up with an infection under my finger (the right one in the picture)."
