"If I could give Currys -10 I would! Ok bought a very expensive coffee machine from them less than 3 months ago, was sold a £190 plan with Currys, that would "cover me" in the event of somehting going wrong. I contacted Currys by phone and was told that a member of the store team would call me. One week went buy and nothing, so today I decided to come in. Waited over 15 mins in the queue as there was only one member of staff at the repairs tills. Was told that they have to contact sage, the lady dialed the number and there was a automated response from sage to say that there was a 29 min wait time, so I said can I request the call back option so they would call me back I was not informed that a member of the Currys branch had to be there too. I left, Sage called me, they told me that it is Currys that needs to sort the issue with the machine out (refund/exchange/ repair). They also said that Currys give false information regarding a so called "RA" code that allows Currys to do exchanges or refunds. I came back to Currys only to be old we need to be present on the line, now I am currently sitting waiting with a wait time "over 60 mins" and I have already been waiting for 30 mins. The manager didn't want to resolve the issue even though I had my receipt, paid plan and the machine itself that was under 3 months old. Really really bad service, wrong information, mis sold the cover, I do not recvpmend Currys Hayes at all especially when spending over £700. The plans also do not cover you, they only reduce your lead time for a repair from 30 to 7 days. This plan cost me £190! In comparison to Argos, who are so efficient with quality issues and things that don't work, they solve it straight away, I do not recommend currys at all!"
"You're able to buy some of the things thats available at the hayes branch providing the stock level & if the staff are even bothered. Walked in there today to buy a DVI/HDMI adaptor which there was an alternative option available but not really what i was looking for. Asked a sales guys who claims the technology is old (no it isnt) & his colleague then went to check and he didnt even know what he was looking at + didnt even check the system for availability. The sales guy says 'You can check at argos' well what happened to other CPW stores? Got to that point where I thought the branch at brentford would give you better service and they just so happened to have what I wanted on the shelf (tad bit over priced) + the sales guy (wont mention his name) even checked the system. I dont think i'd be going to the hayes branch again unless if I had to - Only 3 stars cause its just about ok to shop at."
"One stop shop for all my electronics. Good array of products across multiple brands. Special shout it to Dwayne who was extremely helpful in selecting the right TV and appliances for me. Very friendly, professional and cheerful person. I would only go back and refer Currys for any other requirement for his great service."
"This is theeee most worst experience I've ever had in a high street store. I thought waiting in a Carribbean food shop was bad but this just takes things to new levels. I came into this store around 19:15 to buy a Huawei watch asked a short woman wearing a headscarf in the washing machine department I'd like to buy something over the technology side as there are no staff. Didn't understand what she said but assumed it was I'll find someone. So I'm standing around waiting.... After 10 minutes no one has appeared so now I've gone to the front of the store where someone is stood there like a lemon being absolutely useless. I've asked again now for someone and his response I'll find someone and he genuinely wanted to help me so now I've sat down on the Samsung TV sofa for 20 minutes and no one has appeared. Absolutely shocking I've gone back to the useless guy at the front who looks like he could just go get the item and let me buy it and walk out of here. But nope! He said all staff are busy. So what is he doing stood at the door? I've gone to the person next to the mobile phones who is appolgizing saying he only deals with phones from carphone warehouse and I should find someone over near technology. To which there is no one! Now I've been here for 40 minutes! No one really cares in here and this experience means I'll no longer shop at Currys but these guys couldn't care less they still get paid by the hour. I'm now still currently in the store at 20:10 past its closing time and feel like a complete idiot for even staying more than 15 minutes. I could have and should have given my money to the store that's going to kill all high street stores that is Amazon and I will next time customer service here tragic. Avoid it. In the end I've gone and ordered the product I wanted online off Currys website on my phone to collect and you'll never guess what the guy at the tills says. You'll be able to collect it tomorrow!!! As if!! Absolutely livid, Thankfully the guy stood at the door overheard and said he'll sort it out as he knows I'm a poor victim who's waited over an hour. Management above this store feel free to reach out to me."
