"Very aggressive owner/proprietor. We didn't realise that the seating area was just for the coffee bean as the market has a couple of communal areas for shoppers. We bought our drinks from the coffee bean , sat down and the drinks with something to eat that we bought from another stall. Like I said, we didn't realise it was just the coffee bean when the proprietor came and rudely asked us to stop eating. As we had practically finished anyway we didn't see the point in the conversation. She could have just stated that the space was just for Coffee Bean customers eating Coffee Bean food, which would have been fair enough but she was aggressive, so obviously we will argue back. She resorted to calling us names and swearing badly at us. Absolutely no need for that. If she had been polite and asked us not to do that again then we would have complied. Never going again anyway because her food prices were way too expensive for what it is, hence getting food from somewhere else. But in hindsight, before you sit down, look for signs ( we didn't admittedly because the market has communal areas.) Over the years I've spent a lot of money there and never had a issue. This woman did all this in front of a lot of other customers, therefore maki ng matters worse by the embarrassment she was causing. All it would have taken is a few polite and discreet words and that would been it. We would have moved on and apologised for not seeing the notice and not realising that the area was just for the Coffee Beans use. This was a genuine mistake and there was no need for the aggressiveness from her."
